After breakfast, direction to Erfoud, visit of Midelt, providing wonderful views of the peaks of the High Atlas Mountains, and Er-Rachidia, a modern urban center. Arrive in Erfoud in the afternoon and check-in hotel or experience the Bedouin life for special night under the tent at Merzouga sand dunes. Perhaps make the most of your time in the desert with an early-morning walk over the dunes to enjoy the sunrise. After having breakfast, ride your camel back to Merzouga and meet your driver. After breakfast in the hotel we’ll drive towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. Then the roses valley and Skoura village. Continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. Lunch is at the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. After touring this UNESCO matrimonial historical site, our journey will continue through the majestic Tizi ‘n’ tichka pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains. We will have time to stop and enjoy impressive views and visit the argan oil cooperative. We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
