What You Can Expect :

Day 1 : ARRIVAL AT MARRAKESH AIRPORT & TRANSFER TO YOUR HOTEL/RIAD
Day 2 : GUIDED CITY TOUR WITH AN ENGLISH SPEAKING GUIDE

Surrounded by almost intact medieval walls little has changed and in the central square Jemaa el Fna is one of the world’s greatest spectacles, which is classified by UNESCO as an oral heritage of humanity. Guided historical visit: Bahia Palace, Badii Palace, Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Garden, Souks.

Day 3 : MARRAKECH – OUARZAZATE – DADES GORGES

Following a morning pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech, head out of the city in your air-conditioned minivan through the fertile Haouz Plains toward the High Atlas Mountains. Visit of rural Berber villages and take the high Tizi-n-Tichka pass through the mountains. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, where locals have traded and socialized for thousands of years. Enjoy free time to visit the site and soak up a little of the atmosphere, then head onward to Ouarzazate for lunch. After having lunch, you will visit Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses. You will cross Berber villages of El Kelaa M’Gouna and Boumalne where you will spend the night.

Day 4 : DADES VALLEY – MERZOUGA

Following an early stroll to admire the authentic breakfast. Meet your driver for the onward journey through the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the lunar landscape towards the town of Alnif. Continue to head Merzouga through the Berber village of Tinghir and the Todra Gorge — a small village on the edge of the mighty Sahara Desert. You will cross several Berber villages, then a break for lunch at either Tinjdad or Rissani. Meet your camel caravan and, as the golden sun begins its slow descent over the dunes, set off toward Erg Chebbi, continue to Merzouga and join the Berber camps in the middle of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, the highest in North Africa. Experience the camel trek where your secluded camp in the heart of the desert awaits. With the rhythms of traditional tamtam drumming from local nomads to entertain you, enjoy dinner and an evening under the stars before retiring to bed. Overnight: Campsite in the Sahara Desert Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner and Night in the desert camp … or under the stars.!! You will have the perfect view!

Day 5 : MERZOUGA - ZIZ VALLEY - MEDILT - IFRANE - FEZ

Enjoy the typical breakfast in the HOTEL, then hop back into your vehicle for the onward journey to the holy town of Rissani, the birthplace of 17th-century ruler Moulay Ali Cherif the founder of Morocco’s ruling Alaouite Dynasty.
Continue to Midelt for having lunch then head along the Ziz River where fortified kasbahs (traditional Moroccan fortresses) lie among dense palm groves.
Travel through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas and onward through the fertile Saiss plains, where native flora and fauna thrive. In the early evening, arrive at your riad or hotel in Fez where your 4 days desert trip from Marrakech to Fez will come to an end.

Day 6 : FEZ - GUIDED CITY TOUR WITH AN ENGLISH SPEAKING GUIDE

All day devoted for visiting Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities, home to the world’s first university dating from the 9th century and one of the most complete medieval cities in existence, founded in 790 A.D. Seeming to exist somewhere between the Middle Ages and today, the Soul of Morocco stimulates the senses with its visual details, haunting sounds and rich aromas. Guided visit of medieval Medina, Quaraouine University, Medersa Attarine, Kingdom Palace, Ben Denane synagogue, souks.

Day 7 : FEZ - MEKNES - VOLUBILIS - CHEFCHAOUEN

After breakfast, departure to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city was built with 20 gates, more than 50 palaces and 15 miles of surrounding walls. Following lunch, stop at the remarkable Roman ruins of Volubilis, with its mosaics and temples where we will Have a guided tour. Then we will go to Chefchaouen, Spend the night at the hotel / riad including breakfast.

Day 8 : CHEFCHAOUEN - TETOUAN - TANGER

Discover more about the ‘Blue Town’ where for every shop selling tourist gifts; shoe repairs, groceries, stationery and sweets, a tailor sewing an elegant djellaba, butchers, bakers (one of the centers of life in each area) although candle-stick makers don’t seem to have survived – Moroccan life as lived by the people of Chaouen. And don’t ignore the new town, which has some lovely examples of Andalusian architecture and a charming park at the end of Avenida Mohammed V. Then we will head to Tangier through the mountains of the rif with stops to take pictures, when we get to Tangier we will drop you off at the port or at your Hotel.
