Pick-up from the airport and start a visit of Casablanca if the flight land earlier than you may see the Hassan II Mosque and experience the coastal “Cornish” seaside. Afterwards, depart to Rabat, the capital of Morocco! and spend the night at the Riad / Hotel.
After breakfast you will start a visit of 2 hours of Hassan Mosque, a wonder of the medieval Moorish world with its great minaret left unfinished when its founder died in 1199 the Chellah necropolis and Oudaya Kasbah. And don’t ignore the new town, which has some lovely examples of Andalusian architecture and a charming park at the end of Avenida Mohammed V.
After the breakfast in your riad/hotel in Fes. All day devoted for visiting Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities, home to the world’s first university dating from the 9th century and one of the most complete medieval cities in existence, founded in 790 A.D. Seeming to exist somewhere between the Middle Ages and today, the Soul of Morocco stimulates the senses with its visual details, haunting sounds and rich aromas. Guided visit of medieval Medina, Quaraouine University, Medersa Attarine, Kingdom Palace, Ben Denane synagogue, souks. After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramique view over the whole Medina of Fes.
The pickup start from your Hotel or Riad in Fes then drive southwards to Ifrane and Azrou through the Middle Atlas mountains, On the way we will stop at cedar forest to see the Barbarian Ape in their natural habitat. Traveling through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved and the volcanic rock, you’ll have incredible views of the Middle-Atlas plateau, noticing how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you come closer to of the city Errachidia. After having lunch, we’ll go ahead through the Ziz valley Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga. After enjoying a glass of mint tea, we will leave our luggage in a room then take the camels to a Berber camp in the middle of Erg Chebbi Sand dunes, 20 km long and 5 km wide. Reputed as the highest sand dunes in North Africa. The unique and diverse environment. The camel trek takes around 1hr 30 min from the hotel to the camp where we take back the spirit of the nomadic Berber lifestyle. There we setup 3 Berber tents with restaurant and kitchen at the dunes naturally providing basic facilities. The tents are well equipped and we provide mattresses, blankets, and cushions. After dinner we gather round the fire and enjoy the desert night and may be with traditional Berber drums.
The camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to see what well may be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to your hotel appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip.
After breakfast Continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa” towards the roses valley and Skoura village. Head towards the village of Ait Ben Haddou, declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site where many outstanding films like Lawrence of Arabia or Tea in the Sahara were taken place.
Lunch is at the famous Aït Ben Haddou kasbahs, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Continue your journey to Marrakech through the High Atlas mountains.
After having a typical breakfast, start discovering Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you will see some of the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadiens tombs, the Bahia Palace. After having lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks “traditional market” and explore hundreds of handicrafts. Late afternoon, you will have some free time to look around by yourself the other parts of the city.
After breakfast depart to Casablanca airport ( You need to be at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight, so your departure will be organized accordingly).
