Following a hearty breakfast, we will embark on a scenic 1.5-hour road trip to the enchanting city of Rabat, where you’ll be treated to a 2-hour guided tour of the stunning Hassan Mosque. We’ll also explore the Chellah necropolis and the impressive Oudaya Kasbah.

In the afternoon, we’ll journey onwards to the fabled “Blue Town” of Chaouen. You’ll be able to soak up the atmosphere of its bustling markets, where vendors offer a wide variety of items, from tailor-made djellabas to all sorts of delicacies – a window into the authentic Moroccan way of life. Day 5:Onwards to Merzouga through Midelt, visit Ifrane and Erfoud, camel trek and night in the Camp

Your day will begin with a pickup from your hotel or riad in Fes and a journey southwards through the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Ifrane and Azrou. We will make a stop at the cedar forest to witness the wild apes in their natural habitat.

As we travel through Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt, you’ll have a chance to appreciate the beauty of the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through the volcanic rock. The stunning views of the Middle-Atlas plateau will gradually shift to reveal hints of the desert as we approach Errachidia.

After a delicious lunch, we continue our journey towards the Ziz valley, Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga. Upon arrival, we’ll indulge in a refreshing glass of mint tea before leaving our luggage in a room and taking a camel ride to a Berber camp in the heart of the 20km long and 5km wide Erg Chebbi sand dunes. These dunes are known as the highest sand dunes in North Africa and offer a distinct environment to explore.

The camel journey to the camp takes around 1hr30min from the hotel. Once we arrive at the camp, we will be immersed in the spirit of the nomadic lifestyle while enjoying the unique and diverse surroundings.

There we setup the Berber tents with restaurant and kitchen at the dunes naturally providing basic facilities. The tents are well equipped and we provide mattresses, blankets, and cushions. After dinner we gather round the fire and enjoy the desert night and may be with traditional Berber drums.

Day 6:Sunrise over the dunes, head to Dades valley
