Casablanca
Arrival at the Casablanca International Airport. Our driver will be waiting for you outside at the main entrance of the airport with a sign on behalf of your name. You’ll be met by your driver who will transfer you to the hotel for check-in.
If your flight lands earlier, we will start the visit of Casablanca to see the Hassan II Mosque and experience the coastal “Cornish” seaside. Afterwards, depart to Rabat, the capital of Morocco! and spend the night at the Hotel/ Riad.
After breakfast you will lead to Rabat around 1h30 and start a visit of 2 hours of Hassan Mosque, a wonder of the medieval Moorish world with its great minaret left unfinished when its founder died in 1199 the Chellah necropolis and Oudaya Kasbah.
Afternoon we arrive to the ‘Blue Town’ where for every shop selling tourist gifts; shoe repairs, groceries, stationery and sweets, a tailor sewing an elegant djellaba, butchers, bakers (one of the centers of life in each area) although candle-stick makers don’t seem to have survived – Moroccan life as lived by the people of Chaouen. And don’t ignore the new town, which has some lovely examples of Andalusian architecture and a charming park at the end of Avenida Mohammed V.
After breakfast, departure to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city was built with 20 gates, more than 50 palaces and 15 miles of surrounding walls. Following lunch, stop at the remarkable Roman ruins of Volubilis, with its mosaics and temples. All day devoted for visiting Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities, home to the world’s first university dating from the 9th century and one of the most complete medieval cities in existence, founded in 790 A.D. Seeming to exist somewhere between the Middle Ages and today, the Soul of Morocco stimulates the senses with its visual details, haunting sounds and rich aromas. Guided visit of medieval Medina, Quaraouine University, Medersa Attarine, Kingdom Palace, Ben Denane synagogue, souks.
The pickup start from your Hotel or Riad in Fes then drive southwards to Ifrane and Azrou through the Middle Atlas mountains, On the way we will stop at cedar forest to see the wild Ape in their natural habitat. Traveling through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved and the volcanic rock, you’ll have incredible views of the Middle-Atlas plateau, noticing how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you come closer to of the city Errachidia. After having lunch, we’ll go ahead through the Ziz valley Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga. After enjoying a glass of mint tea, we will leave our luggage in a room then take the camels to a Berber camp in the middle of Erg Chebbi Sand dunes, 20 km long and 5 km wide. Reputed as the highest sand dunes in North Africa. The unique and diverse environment. The camel trek takes around 1hr30 min from the hotel to the camp where we take back the spirit of the nomadic Berber lifestyle. There we setup the Berber tents with restaurant and kitchen at the dunes naturally providing basic facilities. The tents are well equipped and we provide mattresses, blankets, and cushions. After dinner we gather round the fire and enjoy the desert night and may be with traditional Berber drums.
The camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to see what well may be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to your hotel appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes. we drive to Rissani town, the incredible birthplace of Moulay Ali Cherif — founder of Morocco’s ruling Alaouite Dynasty. Get into your air-conditioned minivan and travel to the oasis of Tinghir in the foothills of the High Atlas mountain. Take a 1-hour walk along the Todgha River and admire the palm trees and olive groves. Visit Berber villages and learn about the locals’ traditional lifestyle. Head to the magnificent Todgha Gorge for lunch. In the afternoon, drive out through the Dadès Valley along the famous ‘Road of 1,000 Kasbahs.’ Visit one of the region’s ancient kasbahs, then join your guest house in Boumalne. Dinner and overnight in Boumalne.
After breakfast, head to the Roses Valley to Kelaa Mgouna, a famous rose plantation. Visit one of the rose-growing cooperatives. Continue through palm groves of the Skoura oasis. Travel through Ouarzazate — also known as ‘The Gate of The Sahara’ — Lunch at the UNESCO-listed Aït Ben haddou kasbah. Explore the kasbah and learn of the many famous films and photo shoots in which it has featured over the years. In the afternoon, take the Tizi-n-Tichka through the Atlas mountain. In the early evening, arrive back at your riad or hotel in Marrakech.
The 9 days tour still give you sensation for discovering Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you will see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadiens tombs, the Bahia Palace. After having lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks “traditional market” and explore hundreds of handicrafts. Afternoon, you will have some free time to look around by yourself the other parts of the city.
